Several scripts in the new cPAddons feature are outdated, e.g.: e107 and higher version numbers even come up with "security fixes".

Does this mean that the current cPAddons used version is insecure or does CPanel use a specific branch and add the security patches to it manually?

If the later is not the case, then using the cPAddons would actually do more harm than good, wouldn't it?

Make sense doesn't it, yet we are left with no option but to use this as is. I still don't understand why we are using such a poorly documented and broken system for handling scripts when we had something that was working quite well before.
