I saw cPanel 11.24 came with a new license/EULA (visible only one time after an upgrade). Did you know where can I find it? I found a note about copyright for translations that doesn't look good but I can't remind it.

Do I need to add a ticket for such a simple request?!

No, cPanel 11.24.2 came with a new EULA that is not published on cpanel.net website. Is visible after a server upgrade.

I found one problem about translations license:

But in "Tweak Settings" there's no such option :) That means cPanel can take any translation ..

In Tweak Settings, System section, about 2/3 of the way through said section. "Do not send language file changes to cPanel", I see it.

That's weird. There should be a setting "Allow cPanel get my translation" with default set to no. And those who want to share the file would set it to yes.

More respect to client's privacy would be shown in this way.

Thank you, Voltar. Could you please tell me your WHM version and in what subsection it appear? I have cPanel 11.24.4-R32603 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9
(upgrade yesterday) and older but I don't find that option in Tweak Settings.

@Kelmas - indeed, the default value should be no and only if i want i can allow cpanel to get it.. And is strange that this change is hidden in EULA.

    It shows for me on cPanel 11.24.4-C33098 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9 but not on cPanel 11.24.4-R32603 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9.

I agree. But, in the other hand, I was trying to help translating some strings to spanish because there is still a long way to walk for this language, and sending the new lang files is complicated because of the continously updating functions in cpanel and WHM. I think this functionality have been thought more from the point of view of the translators than from the end users.

The result is the same and the Kelmas proposal is good and polite, so probably if there are too many users that find this setting disgusting, issuing an entry at bugzilla would be the best way to call for action to cPanel staff.

BTW, if I choose to allow cPanel to grab my translations freely, WHEN WILL THEY GRAB IT FROM MY BOX? whenever the server runs an upcp?
