    greetings,

Cannot upgrade past 11.48.1 due to disk space.

is the any way to get cPanel 11.48.1 to recognize an alternate staging directory?

I tried modifying the cpupdate.conf file to include STAGING_DIR=/home without any change..

    Hello :)

How much free space is available to the /usr partition on this server? Could you update /etc/cpupdate.conf so that "CPANEL=" shows "CPANEL=11.48.4.6" to ensure you are using the latest 11.48 build before switching to 11.50?

    Thank you.

just saw this... not sure I understand. 11.48.1 doesn't have the option to select a different staging directory. you are suggesting to trick update into installing build 11.50?

    11.50 requires less space?

    Hello,

It depends on how much free disk space is available on this system. Please post the output from the following command:

    Code:
    df -h
Also, what upgrade blocker message are you receiving when attempting to update to cPanel version 50?

    Thank you.

cPanel & WHM cannot update due to insufficient disk space in the staging directory, "/usr/local/cpanel". The system requires 3 GB to update; this directory only has 2.87 GB available.

The system automatically selected "/home" as a staging directory. All update data will be stored here. If you take no action, the system will continue to use this directory for future updates. To change the location of the staging directory, use https://xx.xx.xx.xx:2087/scripts2/updateconf .

i've been getting this error for quite a while.

Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

    Thank you.
