Cpanel 11 - IMAP SSL not working

Hi, its been a while, but I decided to upgrade to cpanel 11 from 10 using Cpanel upgrade to the latest version.

Things seem to work, except IMAP on 993 has disappeared.

netstat -a -n shows nothing on 993. I get connection refused - presumably as it is not running.

Everything else seems to be running, 143, pop, pops.

Any ideas? Thanks

Hi, I think it was using courier. It seems to have been fixed, once I upgraded mbox to maildir (or was that the other way round ).

That seemed to upgrade courier? or imap? I forget, but I did see it upgrading something that seemed possibly relevant , before converting.

Since then the imaps service is running without issue.

It was an upgrade from mbox to Maildir. This process also upgraded you from the non-maintained (meaning we have provided updates to it in a very long time) uw-imap to Courier, which is maintained. It is what i suspected was the matter. I am glad you got it sorted out.
