since yesterday's cpanel update to the release version of cpanel 11, random domains get removed from /etc/localdomains by the nightly upcp.
Would you kindly provide a fix so this glorious update doesn't cost me any more business ?

    Thank you
    L

I think we had one domain with this problem today also. Not worth opening a ticket unless it happens again ...

    cPanel 11 release notes

This subject is addressed in the cPanel 11 release notes:

Q:Does cPanel 11 have any support for using remote mail servers (MX entries)?
A: Yes, adding a remote MX entry for DNS will automatically setup the localdomains/
remotedomains files as well as a new feature that can be set to always accept mail locally or
    not.
In x3 theme under the “MX Entry” option and in WHM > Edit MX entry there is now a checkbox
that will allow you to set mail to be delivered locally even if the primary MX does not point to
that server, this can also be set individually for each MX entry.

The release notes for cPanel 11 can be viewed here:

cPanel 11 is stable, any minor issues still occuring are being dealt with quickly but overall cPanel 11 is fine and the new features and enhancements are well worth it.

Downgrading from cPanel 11 back to a cPanel 10 Build would not be advised.

As for the issue in the thread, cPanel 11 now automatically removes domains from /etc/localdomains and adds them to /etc/remotedomains for Domains with remote MX records and includes an option in WHM's "Edit a DNS Zone" and cPanel's "MX editor" to allow email to still be delivered locally for Domains with Remote MX records.

Open a Support ticket as Nick mentioned and it will be looked into for you.
