Come on are any of your even the slightest bit surprised that cPanel missed their release date again? 
They've been claiming it's just round the corner for 6 months or more....
They really can't be that clueless about the development/testing time that EA3 has been delayed 5 times or so now, I think it's more likely that they will keep doing this until the final release is ready, simply so it always looks like it is just round the corner... sneaky sales tactic maybe?
Either that or they are just completely incompetent... at least someone at cPanel has trouble with a simple HTML table edit so you never know!

Keep in mind, EA3 is not just dealing with Apache 2.x. Don't think it's just an Apache 2.x thing, most of the instability issues I'm aware of aren't with EA3 and Apache 2.x, but rather other components and configurations now supported by EA3.

My view on this is as follows:
i'd rather it be late than it be released in haste and full of bugs.
Monthly fee or not, I think that we need to consider that for every line of code these guys write, they have to take into consideration, system issues and the neverending threat from hackers out there that will try and break stuff just to get at the servers that cpanel controls.
So be patient. :D

Yep, I'm seriously considering speaking to that dude who knows how to do Apache 2 installs on cPanel servers. Unfortunately I'll lose the support from cPanel, but hey, I feel cPanel are letting me down and their customers at the minute.

Have you tried emailing cPanel support? You should think about hiring someone to do the work for you maybe?
with cpanel i should be doing the work for myself. if i wanted to hire someone to do my apache php sql and that stuff, i would get rid of cpanel and pay my tech to work for me right?
