    hello,

last night cpanel did Auto-Upgrade to: WHM 11.1.0 cPanel 11.2.17-C12566

this results to force all users to login to thier ftp account via typing user@domain.com via the username of the ftp accounts.

    example:

    username: user11
    password: *****

    before it used to login

but now it should be like this:

    username: user11@domain.com
    password: *****

how could i remove the @domain.com from ftp login?

    thanks

Try upgrading to the latest current, then switch between pure-ftpd and proftpd then back to what you wer e using (this forces a config rebuild)

    Switch between pure-ftp/pro-ftp

    Have the same problem!
The Switch "Solutions" didn't helped me. Is there any other possible way for a solution?
We have a ftp user which is used by thousand software-user for there Upgrades, and we are not able now to change their software settings.

    Help are welcome :)

Same problem here! I really don't like having FTP accounts look like email addresses.

This seems to be an issue for all cPanel accounts which used to be able to login with just the cPanel username and now forced to append the @domain.com now. Is this a new feature, or is something broken? We're running the latest RELEASE build, WHM 11.11.0 cPanel 11.15.0-R18033

I cant login from the windows Command line FTP client using username either.

    However username@domain.com seems to work.

Switching to proftpd and back didn't help (although direct logins worked for proftpd)

    Edit:

its decided to work now

    Forced a cpanel upgrade

    /scripts/upcp --force

not sure if thats what fixed it.
