Hello @mehdix92,

The process you see stems from the Terminal feature in Web Host Manager (your screenshot shows the "root" user). We'd like to take a closer look at your system to see what's happening and rule out any defects with this feature. Do you mind opening a support ticket so we can take a closer look? You can post the ticket number here and I'll link this thread with the ticket.

Thank you.

Hello Everyone,

It's possible the reports on this thread are associated with internal case CPANEL-22226. This case was opened to address an issue where the Terminal feature can result in a hanging cpsrvd - websocket process that utilizes a high CPU usage percentage. The problem stems from an upstream bug in one of the Perl modules utilized with the feature. The fix is currently in testing, and I'll update this thread once it's published.

That said, we'd still like anyone facing this problem to open a support ticket so we can take a closer look and run some tests on an affected system. We'll verify if the issue is related to internal case CPANEL-22226 and rule out any additional problems. Post the ticket number here once the ticket is opened and I'll link it to this thread.

Update: We no longer require additional support tickets at this time. I'll update this thread once a solution for case CPANEL-22226 is published.

Thank you.
