    Hi

I've had a customers server update to v76.0.5 overnight and the FTP selection Icon is missing. They normally leave FTP OFF so it would have been off during the upgrade. Now when I go to Home » Service Configuration » there is no FTP Server selector icon. The server does still need a reboot but I can't do that till tonight, but I suspect it won't appear after the reboot anyway.

    See attached screen grab

I have exactly same problem. FTP was disabled before update.

    Code:
    /scripts/setupftpserver pure-ftpd
    /scripts/upcp
fixed my problem. I don't know if the first command had an effect.

    Hello Everyone,

I've reproduced this issue and opened CPANEL-23906 to report the problem. I'll monitor this case and update this thread with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, the workaround is to manually enable FTP via the command line. For example:

    Code:
    /scripts/setupftpserver pure-ftpd
    Thank you.

    Hello,

This is fixed in cPanel & WHM version 76.0.11:

Fixed case CPANEL-23906: Make FTP UIs depend on service instead of role.
