I spoke with our developers and confirmed that this is in fact an issue with the tool. They have created case CPANEL-41131 to work on that issue directly, so no feature request is necessary, as requests are designed to add functionality but not for fixing actual issues.

We'll get that taken care of!
But apparently it's not an issue, but an intended feature? Is there a way we could see the CPANEL-41131 case?

Agree with the others, this is extremely annoying everytime I save.
Several times today I've been refreshing my browser thinking that code tweak doesn't work and find the stupid message again about it'll be overwritten.

I find it odd the devs have to look for solutions when they added this! :-/

I use ftp for main devwork but filemanager for ongoing edits where I don't have a local copy.

I got this warning right now on a new account, freshly created. Served updated to version a day ago....
