The scary part that sent me dashing to do a google search were the words "fixed block count" since they translated in my head to an account limitation setting like quota, which implied that somehow these sites might no longer be functional. Knowing it is simply an annoying display artifact lets me put the hackles down and get back to work. Watching the thread...
Our team is working on some design changes to that area of the interface, and changing the wording to ensure it is more clear.
Well their policy seems to be to ignore what we want even when it is the simplest solution... It takes time to come up with a way to address this while disappointing us and causing more problems.
So quick and easy to implement something we didn't ask for, but so hard to remove the same thing when we do ask for it?
It would seem so - apparently the way it's integrated into the page makes it trickier to remove. But it's being worked on, I promise.
Update - in version 106.0.4 (and it will also be backported to a future version of 104) we have ensured the Upgrade Opportunities column doesn't apply to users with unlimited quotas. The changelog entry for the case states this:
