    If you go into the cron jobs editor, standard or advanced you will find a field that says the following;

    Please enter an email address where the cron output will be sent: ______________________

    According to WHM's mail statistics the following two users have sent this many messages in the past 2 days.

    Top 50 local senders by message count
    -------------------------------------

    7772 4645075 dgtrade
    476 43800596 powerful

    However this is not true at all. After checking their cron settings we found the following username entered as so;

    Please enter an email address where the cron output will be sent: dgtade______________

    and

    Please enter an email address where the cron output will be sent: powerful_____________

    Just because the users did not enter a complete email address such as dgtrade@trade.com it leads to all those emails being sent to nowhere.

    This is very annoying and i consider this to be a flawed design. There should be a check, done locally, on any email addresses entered into the above field to make sure that its valid. If thats hard to do check to make sure the format of the email address is correct userid@adomin.com at least!!

    If the user enter a user name without the @ then your server will spawn emails sent to dgtade@yourhostname.com, out of control, sent by the second until it clogs up your mail system.

    Please FIX!
