    Just noticed on upcp that this release is no ready. Can anybody confirm there success and any issues with this?

    Im running exim with MailScanner at the moment, if i let /scripts/upcp run will it automatically upgrade to exim4?

    It will upgrade to exim 4 (Replacing exim 3 files) so mailscanner won't work with Exim.

    You will have to integrate mailscanner again with Exim (but there are different settings than Exim 3) if you want to let mailscanner scan your emails.

    We run mail scanner also, friend of ours gave this guide to install mailscanner again after the upgrade. Works for us anyway. Make sure the settings below are the same settings that you have in your 2 files. Really depends on how you have mailscanner setup make sure to check what you have in those 2 files though to begin with.

    log into SSH
    cd /etc/rc.d/init.d
    chattr -i exim

    cp exim /root/exim.backup.chrisbond
    cd /etc
    pico exim.conf
    now press ctrl-w
    and type 'queue' and press enter

    Copy this

    # MailScanner Settings (Added by craig)
    spool_directory = /var/spool/exim.in
    queue_only = true

    then press ctrl-x to exit pico

    pico exim_send.conf

    ctrl-w and type 'port'

    Copy this

    # MailScanner Settings (Added by craig)
    daemon_smtp_port = 26
    #Continue with other items

    ctrl x

    chattr -i exim.conf
    chattr -i exim_send.conf

    /scripts/easyapache or you can run /scripts/upcp here

    make sure you're still in /etc

    cp exim.conf exim_send.conf
    pico exim.conf
    go to the main configuration section, and paste in the first set of things you took a copy of

    then close pico,
    pico exim_send.conf

    go to the main configuration section, and paste in the second set of things you took a copy of

    exit pico

    chattr +i exim.conf
    chattr +i exim_send.conf

    cd /etc/rc.d/init.d

    mv exim /root/exim.backup.orig.chrisbond

    mv /root/exim.backup.chrisbond ./exim

    chattr +i exim

    service exim stop
    service exim start

    if so, send a test message to a email address on the server from a outside email address and then from outside to the server.

    You have got to load the mailscanner program first. My tips are for having it installed and setting it back up after upgrading with easyapache
