When users access /cpanel or /whm or /webmail on their domain redirect them to the https(ssl) port instead of the insecure one

This is a little bit of problem 'cuz we can't specify the secure path. So it assumes the main hostname is the secure path which is not always true.

I think a field need to be added for secure path.

Definitely a problem. Why not a s redirect that points to the server name which most have a ssl certifcate installed for. Anyone have a mod for this. Can't be too much to work one up.

Change (s)redirect.cgi in /usr/local/cpanel/base and, while you're at it, (s)whmredirect.cgi and wredirect.cgi as well.

You can actually change this in the web host manager - under Tweak Settings there is an option:

"When users access /cpanel or /whm or /webmail on their domain redirect them to the https(ssl) port instead of the insecure one"

    (Running WHM 8.8.0 cPanel 8.8.0-R53)

Sorry, I don't think you understand the problem here. The problem is not to get cpanel to redirect to a secure port, it is how it is done.
