    Hi All,

I am using the cPanel Perl integration for automated account creation, but every account that gets created has RemoveHandler .cgi etc, and Options -ExecCGI so no .cgi scripts run on the account.

The packages I am using have CGI set to y and enabled, so the configuration appears to be fine.

This was working fine, but has since stopped and is giving this very strange problem that I cannot trace back.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    The same problem!

Even when I remove RemoveHandler from the httpd.conf and run
    /usr/local/cpanel/bin/apache_conf_distiller --update
    and
    /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

or even when I update /var/cpanel/userdata/user templates, after rebuild RemoveHandler is back :(

Finally found a problem! It is a Cpanel bug.

Well - all plans with "CGI=y" but when I look at user files in /var/cpanel/users, I see for some of them "HASCGI=0", so /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf uses this value to add RemoveHandler into user's vhost!

This is most likely do to the reseller restriction that prevents creation of accounts with CGI privileges.
