Does anyone know if there is a way to allow cpanel users to edit their own dns zone files. Have it point to another ip without the box making an entry of the box's ip, and forwarding the user on. I seen a option in root to allow customers to point subdomains to ips ouside the box, but this doesnt apparently do what I wanted. If there is no such option, anyone know if this will be included in future updates, and if anyone has another way of doing this?

I don't think there's a way cpanel users can edit their own dns zone files. They must do that in WHM, which means only root and resellers are able to..

I really think the ability to edit DNS zones should be included in cpanel.. afterall, it's their domain, they should have access to that..
