    Hi,

I wonder if someone will be able to help me setting up cpanel to work with Outlook 2013 autodiscovery correctly. At the moment Outlook is finding an account, prompts to allow for https://cpanelemaildiscovery but throws certificate error when accessing mail.userdomain.com

After adding autodiscover.userdomain.com to DNS zone Outlook throws certificate error, but is setting up main server mail.hostingdomain.com which doesn't give a cert error (we've got a certificate added and configured in cpanel for main host).

Is there a way to force cpanelemaildiscovery to use main host email address instead of user domain one? If not, how to configure Outlook autodiscovery correctly so it won't be giving all these errors during adding an account?

    Best,
    Marcin

    Hello :)

You can navigate to the "Domains" tab in "WHM Home >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings" and change the "Host to publish in the SRV records for Outlook autodiscover support" option. Per it's description:

If you have an SSL enabled host with a CA signed SSL certificate on this server and want to use it instead of the cPanel provided server, enter the FQDN that has a CA signed SSL certificate here.

Documentation on this is available at:

    Autoconfig and AutoDiscover

    Thank you.
