Cpanel and Upgrading OS

    Hi, i currently have fedora core 5 on my server, and i want to update it to fedora core 6 or 7. If i do an update using "yum" will it corrupt whm and cpanel? Will i lose all my data?

    i upgraded before from fedora 4 to 5 then upgraded to fedora 6 without problems

    and it doesn't touch your cpanel install

    Theoretically if the OS upgrade is successful and after each upgrade you force a cpanel update and maybe an apache recompile you should not have any problems.
