I simply get a 404 error while trying to access /cpanel and /whm

    Any ideas? I've run:

    /scripts/sysup
    /scripts/upcp
    /scripts/updatenow

    Didn't work

    Info:
    WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1-R64
    RedHat Enterprise 3 - WHM X v3.1.0

Does your httpd.conf file have these 2 lines:

    ScriptAlias /cpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /whm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi

I think it is located here: /usr/local/cpanel/apache/config/httpd.conf but I'm not sure.

To find out in ssh as root: locate http.conf

a couple of things come up then see if: http.conf is

    then:

pico /usr/local/cpanel/apache/config/http.conf (if it is correct)

    and see if it has:

    ScriptAlias /cpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /whm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi

    In my case it's /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf.

    Try this

    pico /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf

find the following if not please add

    ScriptAliasMatch ^/cpanel/(.*) /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /cpanel /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/redirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /whm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/whmredirect.cgi
    ScriptAlias /securewhm /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/swhmredirect.cgi
