I own a simple WordPress site. I use "cPanel --> Backups --> Full Backup --> Download a Full Website Backup." It created a backup of my WordPress site and also sent me an email message with the Raw Log File attached (see attached file below). This Raw Log File contained lots of errors. My "cPanel --> Logs --> Error Log" displays zero messages associated with my website. The WordPress Support Community said this problem is not due to my WordPress files.

This is a list of the software installed on the host:
  • cPanel Version 56.0 (build 14)
  • Theme x3
  • Apache Version 2.2.31
  • PHP Version 5.4.45
  • MySQL Version 5.5.49-MariaDB
  • Architecture x86_64
  • Operating System linux
  • Path to sendmail /usr/sbin/sendmail
  • Path to Perl /usr/bin/perl
  • Perl Version 5.10.1
  • Kernel Version 2.6.32-573.7.1.el6.x86_64
cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC1)

What is causing these cPanel Backup error messages? What can be done?
Thank you.

Have you spoken with your Hosting Provider about this?
Hi,
I just submitted a "Support Ticket" to them. They provide no telephone support on the weekends. Also, they have a track record of not solving and ignoring "difficult" problems like these, so I'm not optimistic they'll do anything to help.

I'm hoping you might be able to provide some direction. For example, if you think the root cause lies in my hosting provider's tools or resources, if you would provide me some specific information which I could pass along to them, your information might help them investigate the problem so they might actually try to fix this problem. (My experience is their staff has little technical expertise, which I didn't realize until after I got my website up and running.)

Thank you for any specific guidance that could be useful to the hosting company, to help them look in the right direction to solve this.

Also, how serious is this problem?
Thank you.

Hello,

Looks like your Hosting Provider may actually have issues on there side as well, it appears that the "mysql" database may have some issues:

[2016-05-14 13:09:30 -0400] mywebsite_name: mysqldump: Couldn't execute 'SHOW FUNCTION STATUS WHERE Db = 'mywebsite_name'': Cannot load from mysql.proc. The table is probably corrupted (1548)
