Since the update I noticed when WHM backups all accounts it now leaves 2 files for backups

    testaccount-=-meta
    testaccount.tar.gz

So what is the meta one for?
    Do I need it?
Can it be shut off and in not saved if not needed?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Those threads should help to explain the purpose of the metadata files. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Thank you.

Thanks Michael Are you the same Michael that used to be in charge or at least worked with "cpgs" when cpanel offered it?

    Just curious is all?

    Hi Charles,

No, not the same Michael (there have been a few of us).

    Thanks!
