At the end of my log file I have:

    HTML:
    .....
[cpbackup] Copying weekly backups to monthly backups for retention
Waiting for load to go down to continue
Waiting for load to go down to continue
'top' gives me load average: 1.65, 1.15, 0.98

The backup disk is mounted on /backup with SSHF

I've changed the "Extra CPUs for server load" from "0 (default)" to "10". I did this yesterday, so I don't know if the backup has to restart to notice this?

What should I do? Seems like the backup is stuck? It's been like this for three days now. Should I raise the "Extra CPU option" even higher? If not, how do I even restart the backup?

Not sure you should be changing that setting mid backup.

"Waiting for load to go down to continue" is a normal message in most cases I would think.

You can kill backup like this I believe:

You might want to wipe the latest backups just in case they're incomplete in some way, and force backup to run again.

Can you please check the value for Critical load threshold from your WHM Home »Server Configuration »Tweak Settings > Status and increase it if it is set to one. As soon as load average exceed to threshold value cpbackup stuck and cPanel generates warning.

    It's set to 8

This was actually my initial backup as well. And in the very beginning I got some errors like:

Can this be due to I didn't have any "weekly" folder? Should I make the first backup differently when I'm at it and have to redo everything anyway?
This is my current backup settings: Part1: http://dl.pixelstore.se/image/1y3Q0n1G3926, Part 2: http://dl.pixelstore.se/image/371g1l27033P

And this is what "ps -aux | grep cpbackup" is giving me: (OK to kill everything?)
