cPanel Backup - Username change

This is in regards to moving an account from one host to another. Does the username on the cPanel backup need to be the same as the username on the new server? If it does need to be the same, is this a bug or the way cPanel is supposed to work?

Im not entirley sure what you mean but to transfer an account from one server to another, this is the easiest way:

1. Login to the account
2. Go to backup
3. Click "Download/Generate Full Backup"
4. Move this file to the other server
5. Move the archive into /home
6. Restore the account though WHM "Restore a cpmove file"
