My server crashed for some reason, and upon reboot, everything but cpanel works.

I've restarted cpanel and I see this

    Stopping cPanel services: [FAILED]

    then this

Starting cPanel services: [ OK ]

    (along with other Failed/OK processes)

any idea how to get cpanel back?

If there is trouble, it will find me
I had the same problem one time, except with WHM instead of cpanel. A reboot fixed it.

It's working now. Apparenlty service cpanel restart fixed it, while I was doing

    /etc/init.d/cpanel restart

    which wasn't working
