I have been told that cPanel is still having problems running without problems in the 64 bit enviroment, and during installation. Is this true or is it stable in 64bit now? We're purchasing new 2x Dual Core Opteron 270 powered servers and want to continue using cPanel (have now for years and love it) but want to make sure it is going to work as well as it does on our 32 bit machines with the new ones.

    Thanks,
    David

    Go on, have a guess
The main problem is mostly between the 64bit libraries and the standard 32bit libraries. Until or unless linux is developed for the 64bit environment with unified libraries, you're always potentially going to have problems with apps, cPanel or otherwise. It's something you have to live with and deal with if you choose to go 64bit.
