I hope this is the right place for this question. I have searched through this forum with no luck in regards to the cgi counter available in cpanel. My problem is that when I create a new counter the images are broken in the see styles link so I don't know what style is what and when I try to create my own number (say 12345) of hits and hit he commit button, I get an action cancelled error message saying IE was unable to connect to the page. However if I just leave everything alone and create a new counter set at zero and install into page it works fine. Any ideas?

    I'm using:
    cPanel Version 11.23.6-RELEASE
    cPanel Build 27698
    Theme x3
    Branding Style the_beach
    Apache version 2.2.9 (Unix)
    PHP version 5.2.6
    MySQL version 5.0.51a-community
    Architecture i686
    Operating system Linux

    Which version of Internet Explorer?

Have you tried with a different browser, such as FireFox?

Thanks for your reply. That was it. IE Version 6. I guess I'll have to figure out how to use Firefox now as I've just about had enough of IE.

The real question here is, why on earth would you want to use a CGI counter script?? Nobody uses those any more!! They either tell people that nobody visits your webpage, or they tell people that you aren't in touch with modern web design. :) (seriously though)
