cpanel clamav update db look run slow to update

hello cpanel

i use clamav distribution from cpanel to help protect my server. but some time i saw the database were slow to be update. and for 1 week or more i still have this messages

LibClamAV Warning: **************************************************
LibClamAV Warning: *** The virus database is older than 7 days! ***
LibClamAV Warning: *** Please update it as soon as possible. ***
LibClamAV Warning: **************************************************

when i run

[root] /usr/bin/clamscan -ri --remove /

those messages are always show. i think many of cpanel server owner also dependence their server security with this antivirus.

so i think it's would be very great ide if cpanel keep fast update this virus db.

hai thanks for the info. i think solved for now,
but if we must run manually and what happen with cron job.
i mean what was the cron job did for daily update

i wondering what were the goal of the daily cpanel cron update if we must run clamav update manually. isn't that should be an update package from cpanel?

Are you receiving any email notifications regarding the failure of freshclam on your system? Does it fail if you run it manually? EX:

/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/freshclam

yes i have them one or two time i guest. but not yesterday when i run, /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/freshclam
