    Hi,

Want to know the process of cPanel-Comodo AutoSSL Renewal after 90 days,

This link - Manage AutoSSL - Documentation - cPanel Documentation

    Says -
Each AutoSSL provider may wait for a specific amount of time to replace an AutoSSL-provided certificate before it expires. For example:
    • AutoSSL will attempt to renew certificates that cPanel, Inc. provides when they expire within 15 days.
    • AutoSSL will attempt to renew certificates that Let's Encrypt provides when they expire within 29 days.
    • Due to rate limits, AutoSSL prioritizes new certificates over the renewal of existing certificates.

Does this mean that a domain domain.xyz hosted on cpanel server gets free AutoSSL for 90 days and post 90 days it will wait for approx 15 days to get the free ssl cert renewed? If yes during this 15 days window period it will keep showing Invalid Cert sort of warning to end users who browse the site.

Also refer to link - Free SSL Certificate from No 1 Trust Provider | Comodo

It says post 90 days SSL cert will be charged, plz clarify

    Thanks

No. The tool attempts to renew a certificate 15 days before it expires. Not 15 days after it expired.

    1. I'm in the situation on one of the certificates expired. The new one are in pending status. Meantime the website keep display the window showing Invalid Cert warning to end users who browse the site.
That's not good at all for those domains. And the cherry on top is that other domains SSL will expire in the next few days. There is no pending new SSL in the system for them. So seams that your built in system AutoSSL are requesting the new SLL only after the old one expired.

I've separated this issue into it's own thread at:

    New Thread - AutoSSL Renewals

This is a separate product from Comodo that's independent from the cPanel-signed certificates offered via the AutoSSL feature. There's no cost initially or at renewal time for the cPanel-signed certificates (through Comodo), or the Let's Encrypt certificates, offered via the AutoSSL feature.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks!
