I am aware of the answer in regards to how to setup a mysql database from the mysql command line, and grant access to it.

This is more on the lines of, is it possible to do this with the cpanel interface. A user wishes to have a database such as USERID rather than USERID_ which is the default name if the user tries to create a database without a name.

Is there a method? What are the ramifications of this method, and what are the ramifications of manually setting up a database for a user and granting him access to it.

    Thank you for your time.
