cPanel dies with segfault

    Our cPanel is failing since the day before yesterday, it dumps a segfault to dmesg. This is the complete list, the last separed block is the one that pops up when you restart the cpanel service:

    I did a backtrace by following a Pidgin tutorial, I'm not sure if it works the same because it's a different soft, but here goes anyway:

    I'm running a CentOS 5 (x86_64) [K: 2.6.18-8.el5 #1 SMP] and cPanel [11.23.4-STABLE_26138] (pro)

    When this errors popup cPanel doesn't work anymore, but if I restart the server (reboot) it works afterwards.

    Try doing a forced cpanel update.

    /scripts/upcp --force
    It might also be a RAM issue.

    I suggest you have your sysadmin take a look at that server.

    seg faults can also be hdd errors might be worth running an fsck
