I have a cPanel DNS Only server, that was basically installed and not customized at all (other than adding zones, trust keys, etc.). It's stuck at 11.50.6 - i.e. it won't offer me the option to move forward in the "upgrade" dialog. Doing a bit of digging, I found info regarding /etc/cpupdate.conf, the contents of which are:
CPANEL=11.50.6
RPMUP=never
SARULESUP=never
STAGING_DIR=/usr/local/cpanel
UPDATES=never
I'm guessing that first line is what's causing my problem.
But this is *old*, apparently....so am I going to break something horribly if I just set that to "current" and force an upgrade? Should I be using an incremental upgrade path or something like that?
Any thoughts?
