    Greetings all,

I am looking to add DNS only to my dedicated server and I have a few questions on the set up. I've set it up before and it worked, but I wasn't 100% sure as to what I was doing so I wanted to ask here.

I'd like to set my servers up in this combination

To do so how many DNS servers do I need? I'm assuming two...one for each NS.

Also, when setting up the DNS only it sets up just like WHM wanting two nameservers and IP addresses. What do I put here? If i'm doing NS1 do I need to put ns1 and ns2 and use the same IP for both? Do I need two IPs per server?

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Dan

    Two is enough.

You don't need to configure those, they are not used for anything.
You need only 1 IP for a cPanel DNSonly server.
