This started to happen when the normal cron upcp happened so I tried to use --force in shell but still fails.

How do I fix these errors that I seeing in the /scripts/upcp --force

    error: Failed dependencies:

    Code:
    root@dns1 [~]# /scripts/upcp --force

I've got one of our systems administrators helping me troubleshoot this. He thinks the problem was caused by the "cloud" MySQL packages, which are not supported by cPanel. He has replaced these with the stock cPanel MySQL packages. I'm running the update again to see if the error still occurs.

The update completed successfully this time. Restoring the cPanel MySQL packages through yum appears to have resolved the issue.

So it sounds like the MySQL packages got wrong ones during a cPanel update (upcp) maybe cPanel needs to keep an eye on this just incase it may happen again so it can be fixed.

It was not fun spending more than 12 hours trying to resolve the issue.

    Hello :)

You should ensure the MySQL package in unmanaged if you are using custom RPMs. There is documentation on how to configure this here:

    RPM Management

Assuming you keep the standard MySQL RPMs, you should be okay from this point forward as long as the custom RPMs are not installed again.

    Thank you.
