cPanel DNS-only upcp reports

Im getting almost nightly emails from each one of my cluster servers about errors with upcp for checks for services that do not even run on dns only servers. Its pretty annoying. Any suggestions?

The output you provided shows the cPanel update completed successfully. Could you provide an example of one of the service failure notifications? Or, is this in reference to the warning messages within the upcp output?

If there is no error, why am I still getting an email? I don't want to receive emails from every server when everything is fine. Lastly, those aren't warnings, it literally says ERROR in all caps. I know why that error is happening, but to be honest, it shouldnt even be checked on a dns only server.

As Michael said, that output shows a successful update. If you're getting an error email, you should post the output of that error here. The only error I could find in that email is a sprite rebuild error, and that can probably be safely ignored, as the upgrade continued afterwards

I already posted the entire email. If there is no error, I should not be receiving an email.

What you posted was the log, not the email. There were no blocking errors in that email.
cPanel is going to send you that email every successful upgrade. Get used to it.

ERROR: specified theme does not exist

Hello,

Internal case CPANEL-7228 is open to ensure sprite_generator does not run during maintenance when cPanel updates on a DNS-Only system. This will ensure you don't see that ERROR in the upcp log. In the meantime, you can safely ignore this warning message.

As far as disabling the cPanel update email notifications, you can run the "crontab -e" command and replace the "/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --cron" entry with:

/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/upcp --cron >/dev/null 2>&1

The update logs are available in /var/cpanel/updatelogs/ if you prefer to review them manually.

The output comes from the cron job, even when successful. You can change the notification settings for other notifications via "WHM >> Contact Manager".
