    Hi,

In a new installation i see http auth is not activated and in the config interface it does not appear. Can it be activated? I truly would prefer http auth if posible.

    Thanks.

    Hello :)

In "WHM >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings" under the "Security" tab you can turn on/off the following option:

    "Enable HTTP Authentication"

Enabling this option risks certain types of XSRF attacks that rely on cached HTTP Auth credentials. Disabling forces cookie authentication.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

As i said it does not appear in a new dns only installation fully updated. And i am seeing maybe you have removed it from dns only 11.32. So atm you can not enable or disable in the boxes with cpanel dns only.

    Thanks

edit: i mean the 'tweak settings' option

This option is currently not available in the WHM UI on cPanel DNS-Only, however you can manually add the following line to the /var/cpanel/cpanel.config file:

    Code:
    skiphttpauth=1
This turns "Enable HTTP Authentication" off. After modifying the file, run the following command:

    Code:
    # /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/whostmgr2 --updatetweaksetting
    Thank you.

Tweak Settings wasn't ever available in DNS only to my knowledge pre and post 11.32 in the WHM interface. The /var/cpanel/cpanel.config file does exist on those systems, though, for making backend modifications.

The options available in DNS only are far reduced and we only have one Tweak Settings GUI intended for WHM on a full cPanel web server. As such, this is why Tweak Settings does not have a GUI component for DNS only machines.
