What is the process for changing the root password on the cPanel DNS Only system?

    #passwd <newpassword>
    #reboot

    And then resetup DNS Clustering?

    Hello,

    1. Login as root on the server

    2. Run the command "passwd"

    3. Enter the new password and confirm it

    That's it.

You don't need to reboot the server to take it in effect. Also no need to reconfigure DNS clustering, DNS clustering rely on user accesshash not password.

    Thank you,
    Nibin.
