Hi,

We have 4-5 domains per cPanel account and cPanel is only providing the main domain with an ipv6 subdomain automatically... how do I get it to provide ipv6 subdomains for all alias and addon domains?

It's needed so that AutoSSL automatically generates ssl certificates for them...

Thanks
~ Ryan

Yes, I am aware that by default it only adds them for the main domain, the point I am raising is... why?

To get the full benefits of IPv6, it makes much more sense for cPanel to automatically create the rules for all domains.

I had a discussion with someone today on this and ultimately it boils down to the fact that the IPv6 implementation we have currently is still being developed and built upon. It may be that eventually, this is something that is supported and done automatically but it's not at this time.

I'd suggest a feature request if you'd like to see this in the product, I took a look through what we have for IPv6 related feature requests already and don't see one that fits the bill for your request but you can see them here: https://features.cpanel.net/search/ipv6
