cpanel doesn't show error log

Is there a reason why cpanel would not show the error log of a certain user?

&&cpanel Stats=&errlog($CPDATA{'DNS'},/var/domlogs/$CPDATA{'DNS'}-error_log)&&&

I found this in the theme of cpanel. /var/domlogs doesn't exist on my server. However, i created a symlink and restart apache, but nothing still shows in the error log.
