In my config if logged in to cPanel all email accounts are accessible without asking for password entry. Is there any way to force the password to be entered? The situation is that access needs to be granted to cpanel for a web developer and the email accounts need to be kept private from that person

Anytime the cPanel administrator is logged into the cPanel interface they have access to all email accounts within that cPanel account, this is something that's not going to get changed as far as I know as it's an intentional setting. Whether or not you could physically log in with the check email button all emails for all accounts are accessible in the file manager as well. The intention is that the administrator of the cPanel account is the only one that is able to access the interface, mail users would not access cPanel, only their email accounts.

Many thanks for the clarification.
