    Dear all,
Iam a web host manager. I have recently set up a website for someone. When you add a new account you can put a contact email address for the person. However I forgot to put a contact email address for them. Would someone be able to tell me how I can put a contact email address for them.
    Thanks
    Mark

    Mark,

You can log into that person's Cpanel account and then from the main Cpanel menu select "Update Contact Info" (that's for Cpanel 11). Cpanel 10 is a little different but still can be found on the main page of the customer's Cpanel.

Alternatively, you can create /home/<accountname>/.contactemail - and inside that file add the contact email address for that particular accountholder. If you do this, make sure and chown the file so that it is owned by accountname:accountname .
