    Whats the story with cPanel replacing sendmail with exim?
    I tried downgrading back to 6 but it did not undo the changes.

    I have modified php.ini to reflect: sendmail_path = /usr/sbin/exim -t -i;

    But users still cannot use php's mail() function.
    MANY other scripts are broken due to them requiring sendmail.

    Any fixes worth mentioning?

    Then WHY did sendmail (my bad, exim) break all of a sudden?
    I executed the scripts referred by your post - No luck.

    Are there any fixes?
