Downloading a directory is not a feature offered by the File Manager. You must first compress the directory, then download the compressed file.On VPS02 selecting a dir or a single file and then clicking Download... nothing happens

There is some visual feedback for this. If a directory is selected, the Download icon is a dull color. If a file is selected, the Download icon changes to a brighter color.
