Whenever the Windows of cPanel gets into a beta stage I will love to help out and beta test this version out for you.

Your wasting your time posting that here as this is not a official channel to contract cpanel.

You can contact them at billing@cpanel.net and request to help with the beta

Interesting...well, im not going to get my hopes up just yet...it will probably spend another year in the alpha and beta testing stages.

Is it just a port of the current cpanel or a totaly different scriptset?

Not sure, I would assume that it would be new code to fit the MS platform (ASP not PHP etc..).

I would not presume ASP over PHP, infact ASP is quite primitive for windows web projects these days almost everyone uses at least ASP.net 1.x

And PHP runs perfectly on Windows so no reason not to have it.

True...however the whole purpose of having it on windows, may be to support ASP features.

At launch, we'll have support for 2003 Server, IIS6, MySQL, ASP.NET, and PHP. That's all I can really offer at the moment.

    lol, that I can't say ;)

I too would be interested in testing the windoze beta, but unfortunatly no matter how good cpanel makes it, the server is still a windoze server thus going to have many problems. Im sure cpanel part of it will work great just like *nix based cpanel, but an application is still only as good as the OS it is working on, and thus far in my hosting server mgmnt career of 6 years, windoze is far from stable. Just my two cents.

Windows is as stable as you make it. No more, no less. The same goes for *Nix systems.

I'd very much like to see cpanel finally bring out a Windows version.
