cPanel "forgetting" IPs from available IP pool, websites down because of this

I have an IP pool of 12 addresses (not counting the system ones) in cPanel (hosted at ThePlanet). Some websites are assigned their own IPs to be able to use SSL.

I have had several cases in recent months when cPanel FORGOT those IPs and those websites just disappear from the web. No problem with database or scripts, only cPanel forgetting those available IPs.

When I add them back to the IP pool through "IP Functions / Add new IP address", affected websites come alive again.

Did anybody have the same problem? How did you solve it? Perhaps it's caused by bugs in automatic update script, but I am not an expert in cPanel. I actually hate to be so dependent :) My previous server was configured manually, and I knew the internals much better than now. But cPanel does save some time.

My version number is WHM 11.23.2 cPanel 11.23.4-R26138
CENTOS Enterprise 4.6 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0

Update schedule is set to RELEASE.

vps keeps loosing these on reboot

Strange - but the vps' we have suddenly loose these on reboot.
Strange - we have to manually run

service ipaliases restart

Can anyone else confirm this prior to adding a bug report?
