    Hi,

Newbie here, enjoying using my new server!
I have the formmail clone working on my site and it happily sends me emails everytime it is used.
However I would like to adjust the script (I just want the confirmation page to say "Thank You") and I would like it to send a 2nd email if that's possible.

CPanel tells me it is at http://mydomain.com/cgi-sys/FormMail.cgi

However I cannot find cgi-sys when checking with Cuteftp or WinSCP and so cannot find FormMail.cgi to edit it.

    Questions please:-

    1) How can I find the FormMail.cgi to edit it?
    2) Is it possible to make it send the form to one email address and a "notification" email ("You have received an email from...") to another email address?

    Thanks in advance for help.

It should be located in the /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ folder, but I believe this is a compiled binary file which really can't be modified like a regular perl script. ;)

:( Ahh - what options do I have to accomplish what I want to do, if any?

Personally I write all my own custom form processing scripts! :) but if you don't do your own programming, check out Hotscripts.Com they have a ton of perl and PHP form processing scripts that I'm sure will meet your needs.

If you need a more customized script, drop me PM or email.

I mostly write my own too. I also agree there are lots of other nice scripts out there.

That stuff siad, I'm pretty sure you can do the things you want to do with Formail clone by passing some hidden form fields. Check out the documentation... it's been a few years since I used formail, but I seem to remember doing some pretty customized stuff all by passing hidden values in the form.

    best luck,
