Ive searched all over and found a few threads related to this and tried everything i can think of and i still cant make it work.

Im running FreeBSD 5.1 with cpanel (i upgraded to EDGE) and running the newest apache etc etc.

The problem is when a user uploads his or her files with frontpage it goes into the root of their home directory, not into the public_html.

Why does frontpage do this and how do i change it?

    thanks,
    liam

With UNIX systems, they are using ftp:// when publishing.

Instruct the user, to use http://www.domain.com and make sure they have extentions installed on the server. When they use ftp:// ..this will corrupt the extentions and the www. prefix is required or the web bot componets will also become corrupted and will not work if they call there webs without it.

    Hope this helps.
