    Hey everyone,

I'm currently searching for an option to set the ability / access of specific folders I set up with the FTP manger though cpanel. At the moment, they work fine. But I have a problem that users are also able to remove the files that are being uploaded. I wish for them to be able to upload, but not to remove any files that has been uploaded on it.

Currently, even messing with the read/write/execute didn't helped me much. I hope someone can help me with this,

    Regards,
    Skyrider.

At this time, all FTP users set up via cPanel will have read/write (including delete) privileges.

Not quite handy in my opinion, as I bet a lot of admins wish to set up FTP account with custom abilities of what you can and can't do on the FTP.

Quite odd, I made a feature request and attempted to search for it today. Through search, it says my email address has made non bug reports nor feature requests. How come it got removed? I might have slipped my mind, but I really cannot find it: Under the email: Skyrid3r[@]gmail.com

i find it wierd that this hasnt been implemented already.
its been on the table and wishlist for several YEARS now.
Is it really so hard to use some of the features that comes with the ftp servers already?
It does support to have users only have read rights for example. wich has been asked for hundreds of times now.

Do you happen to have bugzilla ID numbers from our official feature request system so I can ensure entries are appropriately combined?
