Hell everyone,

I just wandering if anyone can help me.

My administrator of my forum thinks our cPanel has been compromised but I am not sure.

He thinks someone been able to log into the cPanel and sending spam through the mail server. I have attached an image that shows an IP that does not belong to us.

I can give access to my cPanel if someone could run a check for me.

Kind regards.

Malcolm.

If you're seeing the 'Last Login From' from an IP address that for sure does not belong to you or anyone else that is allowed to access the cPanel account, then it is a cause for concern.

This should be something you should work with your hosting provider in resolving as they have complete control over the server and should be able to provide you with more answers and work with you to secure the account.

Sounds as your cPanel account has been compromised, yes.
I suggest you change password(s). Also maybe check the /home/CPANELUSER/.contactemail file to see if the mail address is correct.
