    Hi there,

I need some assistance restoring a backup of my sites home directory .tar.gz file.

When I attempt to restore the backup from cPanel I receive "Problem loading page - The connection was reset" error. There isn't a proxy or firewall causing the issue.

If someone could help me restore the home dir that would be much appreciated. Thanks :)

If you're having problems uploading your backup here, you might try uploading it to the server and have your host restore it for you. How large of a backup was it?

You better to upload files to your home directory and ask your host to get it restored for you. I believe, your data size must be large that is reason it is not being restored via browser.
