    Hi Guys,

I'm new to this whole idea of branding cPanel but I have downloaded an icon set that would really fit in with the rest on my website.

Only issue is, they are made with a transparent background, which is ideal, but when I upload them to use on cPanel, the background turns black on every single image.

Can anyone advise howto avoid this?

Hi, the problem you encountered has to do with PNG-tranparency. You probably saved the PNG-icons in PNG-8 format. If your software supports PNG-24 (in e.g. Adobe Photoshop you can choose this format when exporting images), the problem is gone. An alternative could be to save the icons in GIF-format. The quality of this format is lower compared with PNG, but transparency causes less issues. Hope this helps.
